i know 7 was the finished mystery.
what were the other 6?
thanks.
You can actually buy reprints of the set of the first 6 written by Russell from Amazon nowadays. It's about 80 dollars for the 6 if you want them as books rather than the ones online only.
Here's a link to see the online copies.

i have long collected the older books and magazines that show the jws crazy cult history.
they used to be very cheap and i have had people just give me books.
but now it seems the older stuff that shows the crazy cult history is really going up in price.
Really, talk about unrighteous riches!
how often have we heard jws (and christians in general) speak about how “god will step in soon and fix earths woes”.
a thought came to mind that i would love to calmly say to the person that says we should “wait on god”.
if your child looks up at you with big eyes, and a pained look on his face and says “daddy, i’m so hungry.
I could never figure out how people who are suffering are told that one day God will put it right. Not now, but one day - and only if you accept this religion.
Whereas animals that are suffering get no promise of relief despite God apparently caring about every single little sparrow.
and what a heaping nonsensical freddie franz like bunch of crap.
as i told my pimi brother.
it's all based on assumptions and assertions that the ezekiel gog of magog account has a 2nd fulfillment in our day.
I was watching a documentary about the Waco siege and David Koresh (Messiah or Madman) and listening to recordings of him interpreting Revelation and Daniel to fit in with his own religious nonsense.
And I thought how similar to the JW leadership interpreting the same verses to apply solely to them and their followers.
As the FBI agent they interviewed at Waco said, con men will always con their followers and when the situation changes, they will say that they have received a new revelation.
Most people looking on dismissed the Waco group as a fanatical cult led by a madman and most people looking at the WTB&TS today probably think the same. The only ones who think otherwise are inside the cult group itself.
i knew of several elders who would tell their wife's everything that happened in a committee meeting.
he is still and elder and very old but i doubt he has changed.
we used to call him.
Of course. We had one who would raise a controversial issue during the elders meeting and everyone would get stuck in about what to do with the person.
And I would wait and then ask him "who did you hear this from?" He would bluster and say that it wasn't important who, they were sound and had reported it in earnestness etc, and get angry (I mean really angry) at me for pushing it. I knew as most of the quiet ones did, that his information came from his wife - who listened to every piece of gossip going.
And he in turn would update her as she wore the trousers in that house.
I recently heard that he is now the coordinator. His wife must be on cloud 9.
a comment from a friend's page.
"why does a heavenly organisation need earthly headquarters buildings?
surely jesus said that god is a spirit and should be worshipped in spirit and truth?

that title, “buy truth and never sell it”.
is that not our goal has jw’s, to try to sell the truth to those who have the right heart condition to accept it?.
para 9: “when the fishermen peter and andrew were invited by jesus to become “fishers of men,” they “abandoned their nets.” (matt.
The one I wondered about was "One day while walking drunk along the road, Jasmine met two Witness missionaries. The missionaries arranged for a Bible study."
Presumably the missionaries weren't getting much success in their ministry that when they spot a violent aggressive drunk - they offer a Bible Study. Would you, really?
Then the fact that when they call the couple are still drunk, so they arrange to come back again. Obviously they have no other people to call on, because if they had they'd prioritise and the drunks would not be top of their list. Personally I think it is another made up story.

Everything was numbered and weighed, and all the weight was recorded.—Ezra 8:34.
With prayerful consideration, the Governing Body strives to be faithful and discreet with regard to how the organization’s funds are used. (Matt. 24:45) The funds that are received are budgeted and spent accordingly. (Luke 14:28) The apostle Paul collected funds as a relief ministration for the brothers in Judea. He took steps to ensure that those delivering the funds cared for “everything honestly, not only in the sight of Jehovah but also in the sight of men.” (2 Cor. 8:18-21) Imitating the examples of Ezra and Paul, our organization today follows strict procedures when it comes to handling and spending donated funds. (Ezra 8:24-33) In recent years, there have been many exciting new initiatives. The organization looks for ways to reduce expenses and simplify the work so as to be able to accomplish the most that it can with your generous donations.
